Winter Camping Symposium 2019

The Winter Camping Symposium is a great event to learn all skills winter camping! There are classes from Thursday through Sunday with Keynote speakers each evening.  Some classes or workshops include: toboggan duffel workshop, snowshoe lacing, proper tarp set up,  antler knife handle making, traditional gear, map and compass  hot tenting 101, dressing to stay warm, wood stove heat shields, first aid kits, menu planning and many more!  There is also a kids program.

Duane of Snowtrekker Tents leads a tour of tents every year.  There had to well over 50 tents set up
